Contemplative Commuting

A train full of strangers, commuting to & fro everyday.
Idiosyncratic disparity in manner, & diverse in every way.
But instead of distinction, I perceived a silhouette of commonality.
That is to arrive at one’s destination and perform one’s responsibility.

Same as life per se is an arduous journey of countless days.
Meeting & greeting diverse array of people along the way.
Some are benevolent & helpful, some are malevolent & atrocious.
Just remember to cherish the good, forgive, & forget the iniquitous.

‘It’s easier said than done’ I heard you say.
Never’ve I refuted the fact it’s a difficult way.
But it never stops me from appealing to the better nature of people.
In good faith, I hope all goodness of humanity will be rekindled.

P.S. O_o this post was written in a semi conscious state of mind (due to lack of sleep). To claim it as poetry is a mockery of the art. I think Shakespeare will turn in his grave if he read this ^_*
